Hello NAWIC Boston! I hope you are all ready for another amazing NAWIC year! I am Carlie Biron, your new NAWIC Boston Chapter President, and I am so excited to present our next year of events and educational opportunities that your board has been working hard on all summer. Back by popular demand, now right before Halloween, we have brought back our NAWIC Scholarship Bowling Tournament! If you haven’t been before it is a fantastic fundraising event for our scholarship fund and a great outing for both companies and individuals looking to support a great cause! If you don’t have a team, no problem, we can put you in a group of amazing people and you are sure to have a good time. Our costume contest is now easier than ever as it is on October 26th, the Thursday before Halloween, so you can get a second use out of what you were planning to wear that weekend! Speaking of our website, if you haven’t been on www.nawicboston.org in a while you should really check it out! Designed and maintained by our very own NAWIC members, it has been revamped with a sleek, easy to use look, and has a new Members Only portal that we will be utilizing this year to share chapter information with all our members. If you have any ideas of things you would like NAWIC Boston to present on, or would like to help out with one of our events and become more involved, please reach out to me! I would love to hear your ideas for NAWIC, things you would like us to roll out next year, and to get you involved in the planning of our Chapter, Regional and National events. And as a reminder, October 1 starts our new NAWIC Year! If you have not renewed your membership yet now is the time so you don’t miss out on any of the educational events included FREE with your membership!
