Goodbye Fears in Client Relationships!

NAWIC Boston was honored and inspired to have past president Kimberly Small, Managing Principal of 360 Klarity Financial leading us in an dynamic discussion this past month about getting rid of the three small fears that stands between us and a true relationship with our client. The goal of this workshop was by shedding these fears and "getting naked" allows us to gain the trust and confidence of client, which will result in customer loyalty.

Kimberly highlighted many wonderful quotes and thoughts throughout the workshop that were hung around the room. These are thoughts that we need to carry with us on a daily basis.

  • The two most important days in a person's life are the day they were born, and the day they find out why.

  • Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

  • The more scared of a calling we are, the more sure we can be that we have to do it.

  • Every person needs to feel valued and heard.

  • Project management is nothing more than relationship building- collaborate, include, contribute.

  • You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there's always going to be someone who hates peaches.

  • Conflict is never about the surface issue. It's about unsaid, untreated and unhealed wounds.

  • You are under no obligation to be the same person you were a year, month, or even 15 minutes ago. You have the right to grow. NO APOLOGIES.

Kimberly's workshop was based on her many years of career development and book "Getting Naked". This book is available on amazon.com. Kimberly provides many lunch and learn topics for the construction industry. Click here to review these topics.

Thank you Kimberly for sharing your experiences and thoughts with us!
