WIC Week Breakfast hosted by Shawmut

Shawmut Design and Construction hosted a breakfast in honor of National Women in Construction week, March 5-11, to discuss women as a visible component of the construction industry. The event brought together over 150 attendees, including executives from industry partners Tsoi/Kobus & Associates, Cannistraro, Associated General Contractors of Mass, and the National Association of Women in Construction’s (NAWIC) Boston Chapter. The breakfast included discussions around the vital role women play in construction led by Les Hiscoe, CEO of Shawmut and Marianne Monte, Chief People Officer. In addition to the breakfast, Shawmut recognized women throughout the week to further emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
