All volunteers need to be 16 years of age older.  The required safety waiver will be issued once you register. All volunteers must bring the completed and signed waiver with them, those under the age of 18 have to have our waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.  We ask all volunteers to promptly arrive for 8AM as the day starts with our site leader, Ted Oxholm, conducting a brief introduction and an important safety orientation. After the introduction and safety orientation volunteers are then broken out into smaller groups to accomplish the days to-do’s. 

Sturdy closed toed shoes are required and comfortable clothing that you wouldn't mind getting dirty is ideal. Dress for the weather, as the work could be both interior and exterior. Habitat will provide all of the necessary equipment and materials for a successful day, but you are welcome to bring your own (well-marked) hand tools if you like. Water and coffee are provided all day to keep you fueled up. Volunteers will break for lunch from 12pm-12:45pm.  Site cleanup will start at 3:30PM, we ask all volunteers to stay and help as this is an important part of the day.
