Lynn transformed herself from a high-school dropout to a self-made millionaire and will share the way in which her passion for masonry helped her to find the inner calm and personal strength to triumph in an industry dominated almost entirely by men. Her presentation will encourage us to realize that true success lies in the ability to eliminate negativity and fear by channeling personal strengths, enhancing self-esteem, and maintaining a positive outlook.

After serving in the prior Bush administration under Secretary of Labor Elizabeth Dole as labor liaison for OSHA, Grace started a business 12 years ago that is now the tenth largest independent Safety consultant firm in the nation. If you would like to know more about OSHA history, regulations and safety planning, NAWIC will host a program in June that you will not want to miss. Whether you come into this industry from the perspective of contractor, designer, litigator, insurer, or otherwise, you will want to attend this meeting to hear Grace talk about her company’s experiences helping contractors create safe work sites, and her own experiences as a woman business owner.

    Ms. Hall comes before NAWIC as Vice President and Director of Preconstruction Services at Tishman Construction Corporation of New England. She has been involved in several high profile projects in Boston such as the Central Artery Tunnel Project, Logan Airport Modernization Project, Boston Convention Center and Exhibition Hall, and the South Station Transportation Center.
Ms. Hall will speak, specifically, how she became involved in the construction industry as an estimator. She will further explain her intimate knowledge of the many facets of estimating and cost analysis.
Ms. Hall is also a past winner of the Pinnacle Award, presented by the Woman’s Network of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, that recognizes the accomplishments of women in metro Boston who have achieved excellence in business and management. She was also named one of Boston’s 40 under 40 by the Boston Business Journal. Ms. Hall is also involved in NEWIRE, AACA (Asian American Civic Association), Greater Boston Chamber’s Women’s Network and New Bostonians for the Mayor’s office.

This meeting will also feature the NAWIC Boston Chapter’s installation of the 2004-2005 Officers and Directors.
